A well-established leading Manufacturing company based in the Scarborough area is looking for a mechanically biased maintenance support engineer to join the business.

The successful Maintenance Support Engineer will have a varied role and be responsible for:

1. Maintaining and repairing press tools
2. Carrying out servicing and general upkeep on a range of equipment
3. Reactive and PPM around the plant
4. Supporting the investigation of machine breakdowns and advising on solutions when required
5. Working in line with all relevant standards, processes, and site quality systems
6. Collaborating closely with the engineering team on various tasks and projects
7. Using a variety of tools and press machines to cut and shape tools
8. Possessing experience with Lathes and Milling Machines

The successful Maintenance Support Engineer will have knowledge of machining and tool making, be able to read drawings, and be a proactive and diligent engineer.
