Overview

Uni-Cast is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic Manager to join our manufacturing team. This position oversees all functions of our manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure day-to-day operations of manufacturing facility, including office areas.
  • Maintain and repair production and building support equipment (including automated, pneumatic and hydraulic machinery).
  • Perform various types of facility maintenance to include basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Implement preventive maintenance and repair procedures to expedite timely repairs and reduce lost production time.
  • Maintain maintenance documentation for the equipment.
  • Experience with welders, acetylene torches and brazing or soldering equipment.
  • Knowledge of control logic and PLC’s.
  • Maintain Company standards of performance and comply with housekeeping, safety policies and procedures.
  • Management of facilities-related contracts and vendors
  • Management of construction activities as needed.
  • Develop and implement a maintenance program to ensure operational readiness of plant equipment and building.
  • Ensure the safe, secure, and clean operation and maintenance of our facilities, including compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
  • Manage facility development in support of business expansion.
  • Assist in the development of capital budgets. This includes contributions towards a five-year plan of maintenance, facility improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Supervise a staff of Maintenance employees.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Facilities Engineering, Manufacturing or Process Engineering in a fast paced environment.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Budget development and expense management.
  • Cost/benefit analysis.
  • Proven track record in mastering process and discrete manufacturing methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.
  • PMP Certification, Knowledge of Building Systems (HVAC, Electrical, Security).
