Mechanical Maintenance - Lincoln, NE

$3000.00 Sign-On Bonus!

Starting Pay: $24.00 + Depending on Experience

Shift(s) Available: Day shift = Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm. Ability to work any shift, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

What You Will Do:

• Work in our Lincoln Facility within the Maintenance Department at the Lincoln Soybean plant.
• Install and maintain machinery and equipment.
• Operate hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and pneumatic systems.
• Repair, rebuild, and maintain mechanical drive systems.
• Install material systems and perform fabrication.
• Report safety issues and follow GMP and HACCP policies.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
• Participate actively in safety programs to achieve a zero injury culture.
• Follow all safety procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Commitment to safety and adherence to safety procedures.
• Regular and prompt attendance.
• 3-5 years of hands-on maintenance or millwright experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• High School Diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• Willingness to learn through on-the-job and outside training, including trade courses.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to perform tasks safely and follow instructions.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain a professional, positive attitude.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and transport materials up to 50 pounds, occasionally over 55 pounds.
• Traverse up to two miles daily; work in various physical positions.
• Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in different environmental conditions.
• Operate equipment and diagnose machinery issues.
• Follow safety instructions regarding chemicals and hazardous materials.
