Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer based in Bedford to maintain and repair wind tunnel equipment. You will join a specialist facility with rotating shifts and training provided to develop your skills.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical maintenance background and a relevant engineering qualification (HND/HNC or apprenticeship). British passport and ability to pass security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Background in mechanical maintenance with a relevant mechanical engineering qualification (e.g. HND/HNC or apprenticeship).
• Experience with rotating machinery, mechanical systems or industrial equipment is advantageous but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical maintenance and repair across the facility.
• Support operation and upkeep of wind tunnel systems and associated equipment.
