Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) in Manchester. The role offers £40,000–£43,000 plus OTE £53K+, overtime, bonus, training, progression, and 30 days holiday with a 12% pension.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on pumps, gear boxes, motors, bearings and heat exchangers, ensuring safe, efficient operation. The role features a rotating 37.5-hour week, with overtime available and the chance to develop within a global chemical industry leader.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience on rotating equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on pumps, gear boxes, motors, bearings and heat exchangers.
• Conduct safety inspections to ensure plant machinery operates safely and efficiently.
• Work in a small team, participate in plant shutdowns and safety programs.
