North Ayrshire - (Commutable from: Ayr, Troon, Kilmarnock, Irvine, Dalry, Stewarton, Dunlop, Beith, Stevenston)

Are you a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer from a manufacturing background looking for a stable role working days Monday - Thursday?

On offer is the chance to join a globally renowned manufacturer known for looking after their staff, with opportunities for technical development and progression. This is an exciting time for the business due to recent investment and growth; they are expanding and are looking to bolster their Engineering team with an additional Maintenance Engineer.

In this role you will be tasked with mechanical maintenance on a variety of production machinery and will collaborate with the engineering team to ensure the site runs efficiently at all times through carrying out planned, corrective and reactive mechanical maintenance tasks.

This role would suit a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer seeking a secure position and long-term career with opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities
  • Planned + corrective + reactive mechanical maintenance
  • Repair of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
  • Working 38 hours Monday - Thursday (6:30am - 4:00pm)
The Candidate
  • Relevant engineering qualification (HNC / NVQ / City and Guilds)
  • Good working knowledge of maintenance practice
  • Looking to work for a global manufacturer
