Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team at Liverpool Street, overseeing Mechanical PPMs, reactive maintenance, and other mechanical duties within a banking contract. The role offers a salary of £45,000 plus plenty of overtime, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8AM – 5PM. The successful candidate will support the Technical Supervisor and Area Operations Manager, providing maintenance services across various sites, ensuring safety and compliance.

Duties:
  • Maintain all mechanical equipment and assist with PPM routines.
  • Perform mechanical work safely, complying with standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and complete documentation.
  • Use and maintain tools and equipment properly.
  • Diagnose faults and repair mechanical systems using manuals and drawings.
  • Report risks, faults, or defects to management.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and helpdesk for maintenance tasks.
  • Report mechanical/electrical issues affecting operations.
  • Maintain Site Activity Log Books accurately and timely.
  • Produce reports as required.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • PASMA certification.
  • IPAF certification.
