Company Overview:

They are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their highly skilled team as soon as possible.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, repair, and fault-find on plant and machinery using various maintenance disciplines.
  • Contribute to machine efficiency and development programs using existing maintenance strategies and continuous improvement (CI) methodologies, including 5 Whys analysis.
  • Complete preventative maintenance inspections and implement action plans to prevent recurring faults.
  • Conduct risk assessments and equipment isolation procedures.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working as a maintenance technician in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Recognized apprenticeship in a suitable discipline and ideally educated to HNC level.
  • Primarily mechanically biased but with experience in electrical disciplines.
  • Experience in fault finding and repairs in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, servicing and repairing gearboxes and large mechanical equipment, and workshop skills including welding, fabrication, and use of workshop equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and pillar drills.
