Job description

Maintenance Engineer Preston Lancashire area needed for a hands-on role in production/factory, at a state-of-the-art production facility with an impeccable reputation, a friendly culture, and a strong teamwork ethic.

The Maintenance Engineer role in Preston is scheduled for Monday - Friday evening shifts.

Salary up to £50k+ plus pension, holidays, and other perks.

Maintenance Engineer duties:
  1. Reactive and planned maintenance of production machinery across the site and process plant
  2. Working on project-related work
  3. Hands-on mechanical skills with proven experience
  4. Qualified with some engineering qualifications
  5. Attend machinery breakdowns
  6. Fault finding and repairs on machinery
  7. Experience working with pumps, motors, etc. is preferred
  8. Minimize downtime
Requirements for Maintenance Engineer:
  1. A formal engineering qualification, ideally at least City & Guilds Level 2, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent, with practical experience
  2. Proven mechanical experience

The Maintenance Engineer role is commutable from Preston, Manchester, Wigan, Southport, Blackburn, Eccleston, Kirkham, Ormskirk, and other parts of Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
