Responsibilities

  • Conduct water hygiene checks and emergency lighting checks.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly PPM checks.
  • Assist in managing reactive breakdowns and triaging interventions.

Job description

Ensure all statutory records are kept up to date and available for inspection.

Be aware of and have good working understanding and practical hands-on input regarding control of legionella and associated required works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Water hygiene checks - L8 checks
  • Emergency lighting checks
  • Daily, weekly and monthly PPM checks
  • Basic electrics depending upon qualifications (competency)
  • Clearing and tidying up of common areas, plant rooms, store rooms etc
  • Repairing safety hazards
  • Installation of appliances and machines
  • Liaison with contractors and suppliers (control of permits, escorting duties, managing safety)
  • Managing deliveries of items
  • Attend reactive breakdowns actively triaging intervention or sub contractor call outs
  • Complete/ assist completion of PPM regimes
  • Monitor stock and start ordering procedure
  • Ensure all records are up-to-date
  • Meter readings

Escalate Health & Safety, Environmental and Operational issues and incidents as required by the escalation procedure.

Assist the Site Team in the production of a monthly report and action plan to monitor progress against targets.

Be a proactive member of the team, with a hands-on approach and positive attitude, working with the Site FM to ensure first class TFM service delivery.

Requirements:

We're looking for a multi skilled engineer but they need some plumbing experience. Ideally, a Mechanical, Gas and Plumbing Engineer.
