Maintenance Engineer - Days

Sherburn In Elmet

Salary: £45,000

Working Hours: Week One: 6am - 2pm / Week Two: 2pm - 10pm

Callout Rota: 1 in 4 weeks

We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Engineer to join a market-leading company. Reporting directly to the Manager, you will be a key member ensuring customer products are kept operational. Your responsibilities will include all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operations. The company offers progressive training and development, supporting employees' skill enhancement within a welcoming team of engineers. This role is ideal for an engineer seeking a challenging opportunity within a secure and stable organization.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical maintenance and repair
  • Performing PPM and reactive maintenance on machinery
  • Experience preferably in the Food industry or manufacturing sector
  • Working with hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Fault finding and diagnostic skills
  • Welding and fabrication skills are desirable

Qualifications:

  • Time served in the Food or Manufacturing industry
  • NVQ Level 3 (desirable)
