Job Description:

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Manufacturing

Location: West Berkshire

Contract: 3-month rolling contract

Shifts: Panama shifts (12hr) – Day and Nights

The day-to-day responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer include:

• Maintaining heavy mechanical machinery
• Reactive maintenance, fault finding, and component replacement on equipment such as conveyors, cranes, cookers, slicers, kiln cars, bearings, and chains
• Preventative maintenance using a CMMS system for planned tasks
• Installation and fitting of mechanical components

Required skills and experience:

• Experience in heavy-duty industrial manufacturing environments
• Mechanical maintenance and fitting experience within industrial engineering
• NVQ Level 3 or Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering (advantageous)

Benefits:

• Minimum 40 hours per week
