Job summary

Damicor Ltd, an internationally renowned engineering solutions provider, invites applications for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer near Hayes. The role offers a base salary of £52,500 plus overtime and a strong benefits package, with excellent training and career development plans.

You will perform maintenance on automated equipment, carry out PPMs, and handle mechanical and electrical systems such as motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and sensors. Shifts are 12 hours (days/nights).

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing automated equipment.
• Ability to perform planned preventive maintenance (PPMs).
• Strong mechanical skills incl. motors, gearboxes, conveyors and FF/R.
• Electrical knowledge of motors, inverters and sensors.
• Formal Level 3 engineering qualification in Mechanical or Mechatronics.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts (days/nights).
• Backgrounds from automation, manufacturing, REME or rolling stock.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on automated equipment.
• Carry out scheduled PPMs to prevent breakdowns.
• Maintain motors, gearboxes, conveyors and FF/R components.
• Support electrical systems including motors, inverters and sensors.
• Work 12-hour day and night shifts as required.
• Adhere to safety, quality and housekeeping standards.
