Job description

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - GBP24p.h. - GBP27p.h.

Our client is a leading Facilities Management Group, who are looking for a Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work in a critical environment across several sites in the Southampton & Portsmouth Regions.

3 6-month Contract with immediate start opportunity to go permanent.

Duties

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive and servicing on all Mechanical plant and equipment in Commercial Offices, Hospitals, Schools etc.

Basic Plumbing, Water Treatment, Legionella, Compressors, Pumps, Fan Coil Units, Plant Room Assist

Fault-finding, servicing & repair work

Emergency Lighting

Lamping

Maintain up-to date records of all work carried out on plant and equipment

Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Must have worked in a similar environment
  • City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Legionella awareness advantageous
  • IPAF
  • Basic Hand Tools

Hours of work:

Monday - Friday 37.50 hours per week.

If you have a current CRB/DBS certificate this will be hugely advantageous.
