Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Rotherham

Working Hours: Days, 7am - 3:30pm

Salary: £40,000

We are seeking a motivated maintenance engineer to join a leading UK manufacturer. Reporting directly to the engineering manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production facility. Your responsibilities will include all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within the operation. The company offers progressive training and development, supporting employees in enhancing their skills within a welcoming engineering team. This position is ideal for a strong engineer seeking a challenging role within a secure and stable company.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Providing reactive and preventative maintenance (PPM)
2. Responding to machine breakdowns
3. Maintaining conveyors, crushers, filters, hammer mills
4. Swapping electrical components
5. Adhering to all health and safety regulations on site

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Maintenance experience
2. Time-served engineering experience
3. Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge
4. Mechanical experience (desirable)
