Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Factory Based. Commutable from Swansea, Kidwelly, Bridgend, Porthcawl, Port Talbot, Merthyr Tydfil, and surrounding areas.

30 - 40 Per hour (Umbrella) Inside IR35
3 Month Rolling Contract (3-12 Months)
Continental Shift Pattern (2-2-3)

Are you a Mechanical Fitter / Engineer with experience working with production line equipment looking to join a blue-chip manufacturer and support them with the continued smooth operation of their equipment?

Do you have experience working in a factory environment, carrying out the reactive and pre-planned mechanical maintenance of heavy production equipment and ensuring its continued operation in a busy working environment?

This multinational company are blue-chip manufacturers of bespoke equipment, pride themselves on the quality of their products and are leading the way in their industry. Due to increased workload they are looking for a skilled contractor to join the team and help ensure their continued success.

Due to continued growth and expansion, they are looking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer on a 3 - 6 month contract working 42 hours per week on a continental shift pattern supporting the business and providing skilled maintenance to keep the factory running at full capacity.

The Role:

  • Pre-planned and reactive maintenance of production line equipment and heavy manufacturing equipment
  • Ensuring the equipment is functional and that any faults are reported and fixed in a timely manner
  • 3 month rolling contract
  • 42 hours per week on a continental shift pattern

The Person:

  • Experience working within a production / manufacturing environment
  • Mechanically qualified
