Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Panama

Shift: 12-hour shifts (Day/Night/Weekends)

Salary: £46,000 per annum

Are you a seasoned Mechanical Maintenance Engineer within the FMCG space? If so, this opportunity might be perfect for you! We are currently seeking an individual with a Mechanical Engineering background to join a renowned FMCG company near Poole, Dorset.

Responsibilities:

1. Efficiently repair various production machinery using reactive and preventative maintenance techniques, including motors, control panels, and various systems.
2. Work confidently with pumps, motors, thermoformers, HVAC systems, and gearboxes.
3. Demonstrate proficiency in mechanical principles and engineering.
4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
5. Collaborate with the production team to optimise equipment performance and minimise downtime.
6. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and provide reports as needed.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in the FMCG sector.
2. Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering (e.g., BTEC, HNC).
3. Proven experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC systems.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
