Job summary

Invictus Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. The role is a full-time position with a salary of up to £45,000 per year. You will handle mechanical maintenance tasks on-site, perform preventative maintenance, and contribute to reducing downtime.

Location: Hatfield, UK. Working hours: 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday. Overtime is available and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical maintenance in industrial environments.
• Ability to diagnose faults and implement timely repairs.
• Willingness to work on-site in Hatfield.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive mechanical maintenance on equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimize downtime.
