Job description

Coyle Personnel, one of the UK’s leading family-run staffing solutions providers, is currently seeking a skilled Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work within high-end domestic environments across Northampton and Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanical maintenance engineer to work within a growing team, providing aftercare to high-end domestic properties in Northampton and Birmingham areas.

Role Summary:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting planned and reactive maintenance checks on electrical, mechanical, and HVAC plant and equipment. This role requires a 'can do' approach, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out investigation work within domestic properties
  2. Carry out checks to HIU systems, reporting issues to the help desk team
  3. Understanding of BMS systems and how to operate them
  4. Carrying out planned maintenance tasks as instructed by the management and support team
  5. Responding to emergency maintenance tasks as instructed by the management and support teams
  6. Completing paperwork
  7. Ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to

Requirements:

  1. Good all-round building experience
  2. Mechanically qualified - NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing Studies
  3. CSCS Blue Card
  4. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  5. Previous experience within a domestic maintenance environment is essential
  6. Full UK driving licence
