• Job Title:Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Dayshift
• Location: Goole,Doncaster area easy M62 access and A1 proximity
• NO NIGHTS –do you want to come off shifts and workday patterns?
• Mondayto Friday 8 hours rotating?
• Pay Range: £46K plus overtime,OTE £50K+
• Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities – Mechanical MaintenanceFitter

• Your new challenge will be providingeffective and efficient planned, preventative and breakdownmaintenance to minimise losses to production
• Ensure thecontinuous running of the production process by eliminating downtimethrough a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenanceof equipment
• Planned and reactive maintenance to keepdowntime to a minimum
• You'll work with conveyor systems,hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and general mechanical fitting
• Fault-finding to basic welding
• Leading electricaland instrumentation, repair, and working with s CMMS
• Diagnosis, resolution, and elimination of root causes ofmechanical engineering faults
• Implementation of minorequipment modifications in support of increased performance
• Could you complete all scheduled, planned corrective,reactive, and improvement maintenance as assigned?
• Contributeto the planning and implementation of allocated annual equipmentoverhauls.

Qualifications & Requirements –Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

• Apprenticetrained or NVQ level 3 in a mechanical engineering discipline inmaintenance engineering
• Manufacturing Industry experience,heavy, medium or FMCG environments considered.
• Knowledge ofconveyor belts, drives, gearboxes couplings general mechanicalequipment
• Knowledge of Hydraulic & Pneumatic systems isessential
• Routine Preventative Maintenance so anunderstanding of a PPM schedule
• Finding and fixing faultsquickly and effectively
• Basic welding and fabrication skillsadvantageous
• Fitting, Fabricating and Welding experiencepreferred
• A proactive approach to fault finding, a commitmentto continuous improvement and personal development
