Reporting to the Engineering Team Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering Team Member at our Pollington site.

What’s the mission?

In this role, you'll perform both planned and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime. Responsibilities include working with conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and general mechanical fitting. Key tasks involve preventative maintenance, fault-finding, basic welding, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. We seek team players with a hands-on approach committed to safety, production targets, and continuous improvement.

What are the critical skills?
  • Mechanical fitting knowledge of conveyor belts, drives, gearboxes, and couplings
  • Understanding of Hydraulic & Pneumatic systems
  • Experience with Routine Preventative Maintenance and PPM schedules
  • Fault diagnosis and quick fixing skills
  • Basic welding and fabrication skills
  • Basic Electrical knowledge (advantageous)
  • Good workshop and storekeeping practices
  • Teamwork in a busy manufacturing environment
  • Ability to complete risk assessments & sptws when required
  • Commitment to high health and safety standards and site improvements
