Job Description:

Requirements:

• Must come from a CNC Machine shop background.
• Experience with CNC lathes and machining centres is an advantage.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematic diagrams.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
• Ability to work shifts and additional hours when required.
• Time served with experience in a heavy industrial environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of health and safety principles.

Responsibilities:

• Providing mechanical breakdown cover.
• Assisting fitters with breakdowns and repairs.
• Identifying and leading process improvements.
• Carrying out preventative maintenance as per PPM schedules.
• Fault diagnosis and identification.
• Maintaining plant and equipment to high standards.

Education / Qualifications:

• Strong fault-finding skills.
• BTEC HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
