Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Site based, commutable from Thetford, Bury St Edmunds, Diss, Newmarket and surrounding areas.

35,000 - 45,000 + Monday to Friday, Days Shift Pattern + No Call Out Rota + No Night Work + Holiday + Pension + Benefits

This well-established company specialise in high-volume manufacturing and supply into a range of industries. They are going through a period of growth and busier than ever and as such are looking to add an additional Maintenance Fitter to their team.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out maintenance to a variety of mechanical construction and process equipment. You will be involved in welding and fabrication as well as carrying out some installation work as and when required.

THE ROLE:
Maintenance and fitting of a variety of mechanical and process equipment
Primarily mechanical bias maintenance activities
Welding and fabrication

THE PERSON:
Mechanical Fitter/ Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Prior experience working in heavy industry or manufacturing or plant or similar
Candidates from either Plant Fitters, Agricultural Engineer or Ex Forces are encouraged to apply and will be offered training
Happy to work at height
