Site Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

2 Shift – Earlies / Lates

We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Maintenance Engineer to join an innovative manufacturing company specializing in blending and supplying renewable fuel products for the transport and marine industry. This entrepreneurial business is dedicated to advancing clean energy solutions and fostering sustainability.

As a Site Maintenance Engineer, you will ensure the smooth operation of the fuel production terminal. Your role will involve maintenance and project work, ensuring all plant, equipment, and facilities are effectively maintained and in excellent condition.

Key Tasks:

• Maintain and ensure the functionality of all site systems and processes, including blending, processing, loading, unloading, and transferring equipment
• Lead and contribute to site improvement projects to enhance production capabilities
• Conduct risk assessments, permit-to-work procedures, inspections, and fault finding to ensure safety and compliance
• Perform regular site checks and servicing to address maintenance issues proactively
• Welding, fabrication, and installation
• Manage and promptly address equipment defects to prevent production disruptions
• Participate in business R&D initiatives related to products and processes
• Assist site Operators with daily tasks such as loading tankers, processing paperwork, and fuel production to meet operational goals

Key requirements:

• Apprentice-trained Mechanical Engineer
• Proven experience in industrial maintenance within regulated environments like chemical, petrochemical, O&G, or similar
• Experience in welding and fabrication
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong H&S knowledge; IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications are advantageous
