Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)
Daventry
Days (Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:00, 15:00 finish on Friday)
30,000 - 38,000 + overtime at 1.6x

A well-established manufacturer with a strong presence in the construction products sector is looking to add a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to its engineering team. With recent investment and a stable order book, they're strengthening their in-house maintenance capabilities to support ongoing production demands.

The Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll support a busy, fast-moving site, carrying out a mix of proactive and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability. Duties include:

• Responding to breakdowns across mechanical and electrical systems
• Delivering planned maintenance in line with the site's PPM schedule
• Fault finding and root cause analysis
• Supporting ongoing improvement and reliability projects
• Maintaining clear service and maintenance records
• Working as part of a small, well-structured engineering team

About You:

• Strong mechanical engineering background
• Previous experience within manufacturing or industrial environments
• Competent with fault finding and minor electrical work
• Proactive, adaptable, and a team player
