Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Defects & Small Works)
Based in Warwick | Covering Midlands & Local Areas
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

A well-established Mechanical and Electrical Contractor based in Warwick is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team.

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role involves supporting our major projects team during the 12–24 month post-completion defects period. Responsibilities include attending scheduled visits to identify and rectify mechanical issues across various settings such as offices, schools, care homes, residential buildings, student accommodations, and hotels.

You should be multi-skilled and proactive, capable of handling issues like leaking showers or toilets, faulty boilers and heating systems, ventilation, and drainage concerns. Additionally, you will support our planned maintenance contracts and respond to small works requests for local businesses.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer requirements:

• Experience in mechanical installation or maintenance roles
• NVQ qualifications in Plumbing (Domestic & Commercial) and Heating & Ventilation
• Gas Safe Registered (Domestic as a minimum)
• CSCS card holder
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Organised, self-motivated, and customer-focused
• Friendly, respectful, and professional in both domestic and commercial environments
