We are headhunting an experience, time served Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing client based in Blackburn. Working a double day's shift pattern, this is a great opportunity to join a people focussed business. Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving production equipment to ensure maximum efficiency, safety, and performance in a high-volume engineering operation. This role is tailored towards a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a background working in a high-speed manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will come from a fast-moving manufacturing environment with 3-5 years' experience as a minimum. Experience with pneumatics, power presses and processing equipment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment
  • Provide efficient breakdown support to meet production targets
  • Take lead responsibility for maintenance during night shifts
  • Support installation and commissioning of new machinery
  • Promote health, safety, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives

This role offers a rewarding overall package which consists of a basic salary in the region of 45,000, with 8% company pension contributions, medical cover, performance related bonus, . The company also an annual pay rise as well fantastic overtime available at x2.
