Clear training to become 'Engineering Surveyor'
  • £2k joining bonus, £2.5k yearly bonus
  • Must have HNC or above
  • £41k - £44k basic & overtime, £5k car allowance / car, 12% pension, 25 days holiday, bonus, world-class training, for a 'UK Top employer'
The Opportunity

Mechanical Engineers are ace. With an in-depth knowledge of all things mechanical and the ability to fix anything, these are the true heroes of the engineering world.

But there comes a time when you may be looking to 'come off the tools' and use all that knowledge to move into a slightly different career focus, that of a 'surveyor'. You've seen these people around - the ones that test and inspect different lifting equipment and ensure everything is working correctly.

We are looking to recruit a mechanical professional with lifting equipment experience to forge a long-term career with a world-leading organization. A company that invests tens of thousands into your development in the first year alone, where you manage your own diary with a view to a long-term career with ongoing training and opportunities.

And WOW, what a package! You will easily earn over £52k with overtime, car allowance, as well as 12% pension, 25 days holiday, bonus, and world-class training. And this is just the start.

The Person

We're open to various backgrounds, but we prefer a HNC level educated professional with experience in maintaining and servicing lifting equipment and mobile plant (such as MEWPs, excavators, lifting tackle, HIABs, powered access, etc.).

Most importantly, we want you to be eager to learn new skills and develop your mechanical knowledge further in a career-focused role. Significant investment will be made in you, so understanding the value of this opportunity is essential.

Any inspection knowledge, LOLER & PUWER familiarity would be advantageous too!

The Role

This role will leverage your mechanical expertise and teach you new skills related to testing and inspecting pressure systems.

You will be inspecting lifting equipment across various sectors such as marine, agriculture, manufacturing, power plants, and airports. You will manage your own schedule and visit different sites to ensure equipment safety.

Training can last up to 6 months, providing a genuine opportunity to acquire new skills within a renowned company.

The Company

This is a top UK employer with a world-class reputation for staff training and development. Many senior employees started in roles similar to this, highlighting the potential for career progression.
