Job Title: Mechanical Laboratory Assistant

CK Group is recruiting for a Mechanical Laboratory Assistant to join a resin and composites company at their site in Heanor, Derbyshire. This is a contract role for 6 months, offering £13.00 per hour PAYE.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and organized laboratory environment.
2. Support the testing process by preparing materials and equipment.
3. Maintain accurate records of tasks performed and materials used.
4. Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
5. Assist with basic technical tasks under the supervision of senior staff.

Candidate Requirements:

• Either 5 relevant GCSE passes with 2-5 years of relevant experience, or 3 A levels, or 4-6 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with mechanical testing techniques.
