Mechanical Inspector Position at RINA

RINA is seeking experienced Mechanical Inspectors to perform inspection activities for our esteemed clients in the UK.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Previous experience conducting inspections at JGC Engineering and Technical Services Ltd, especially with shim assemblies, PIF Shims, Pins, and Bearings, is beneficial.
• Possession of a Mechanical Degree (Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Welding Engineering, or relevant high school diploma) and certifications such as NDT, welding, coating, etc.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Mechanical Inspector, including inspections at vendor premises, daily or project-based inspections, or third-party inspections.
• Ability to prepare detailed daily/weekly inspection reports.
• Proficiency in English for reporting, understanding international standards/codes, and communicating with clients.
• Freelancer inspectors or those affiliated with inspection agencies/societies must be able to invoice for services rendered.

Location: JGC House, Janetstown, Thurso, Caithness, KW14 7XF

Note: Only UK residents are eligible for this position.

Period: Until 6/19/2025 (ad-hoc visits)

Contract: Freelance or through inspector agencies for ad hoc activities.
