Mechanical Improver / Plumber - Commercial Building Tower Hill

Position: Permanent | Salary: £34,000 to £36,000

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based in London. CBW is recruiting for a Mechanical Improver / Plumber at a large commercial estate near Tower Hill. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified plumber with experience in commercial/property building maintenance.

The role involves carrying out plumbing and water treatment planned and reactive maintenance across a large static site, working with the on-site maintenance team. Knowledge of mechanical systems is not required; only plumbing and water treatment knowledge is necessary, as training will be provided to develop into a fully qualified mechanical engineer.

Package & Hours of Work

• Up to £36,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday, 08:00 am to 17:00 pm (40-hour week)
• Overtime available
• 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
• Company Pension

Duties and Responsibilities

• Repairing toilets and sinks
• Unblocking toilets
• Water hygiene maintenance and inspections
• Pipework inspections and repairs
• Minor installation works
• Assisting other trades on site as needed
• Carrying out planned and reactive works
• Water treatment tasks (temperature checks, not dosing)
• General building fabric maintenance
• Supervising and escorting specialist subcontractors

Requirements

• Plumbing qualification at Level 2 or above
• Proven experience in commercial or property maintenance
• Installation experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Willingness to cover a large site
• Honest, hardworking, and reliable
