Role – Mechanical Fitter

Location -UK

Key Accountabilities:

• Working as part of the Mechanical installation team you will be responsible for completing the scope of works safely, in accordance with client specifications and standards and Galliford Try’s Mechanical safety rules.
• Engage with Galliford Try’s positive safety culture.
• Ensure that all Health and Safety legislation and regulations are adhered to and promote a positive culture.
• Ensure that all installation works are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the contract and project quality plan.
• To coach and mentor Mechanical Improvers and Apprentices.
• Work as part of a growing team.

About you:

• Ability to interpret Mechanical installation drawings and complete installations with minimal assistance from the Mechanical Supervisor.
• Appropriate trade qualifications.
• Industrial Experience.
• CSCS or CCNSG.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

• SSSTS or equivalent.
• EUSR water hygiene.
• Experience in Water industry.
• PASMA / IPAF / Confined space.
• Industrial experience.
• Fitness to work medical.
• Emergency first aid or First Aider.
