Job summary

Recruit4staff are representing a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Mechanical Fitter to work in Deeside. Pay is up to £16.00 per hour with hours 08:00 - 16:30, Monday to Friday. This temp-to-perm position offers long-term prospects with a well-established manufacturer.

You will fit and assemble HGV components, read engineering drawings, and use a range of hand and power tools to complete installations and modifications to a high standard. MIG welding experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar mechanical assembly role.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Fit and assemble HGV components including skip loaders, hook loaders and cranes from engineering drawings.
• Utilise hand and power tools to complete installations and modifications to a high standard.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with attention to detail and quality.

Job Role:

As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for the fitting and assembly of HGV components including skip loaders, hook loaders and cranes. The Mechanical Fitter will work from engineering drawings and utilise a variety of hand and power tools to complete installations and modifications to a high standard. This Mechanical Fitter opportunity offers long-term prospects with a well-established manufacturer.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a Mechanical Fitter or within a similar mechanical assembly environment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience using hand and power tools
