Mechanical Fitter

A multi-skilled assembler/fitter is required by a long-established and respected engineering manufacturing company. This interesting role involves working on various types of assembly and fitting to a high standard for equipment used in the food processing industry.

Mechanical Fitter - Job Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, install, repair, and maintain mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Perform inspections to identify faults or malfunctions and troubleshoot issues.
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Mechanical Fitter - Essential Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar role.
