Ernest Gordon Recruitment is helping a client in Dunfermline, Fife, recruit a Mechanical Fitter/Technician for both workshop and field-based work. The role includes installing pipework, sensors and water treatment instruments, with travel across Scotland and occasional overnight stays.

You will join a growing engineering company that offers training, progression opportunities and a company van. Salary ranges between £35,000 and £40,000 per year with additional benefits.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Fitter or Technician background.
• Experience in Assembly or Pipefitting.
• Hold a Full UK driving licence and willing to travel overnight.
• Based in Fife, Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install pipework, cable trays, sensors and water treatment instruments.
• Work across a mix of workshop and site-based projects.
• Travel around Scotland with overnight stays every week.
• Adhere to 8:00–16:30 (Mon–Thu) and 13:00 finish on Friday.

Are you a Mechanical Fitter, Technician or similar, looking for a varied workshop and field-based role within a growing engineering company who will offer you a friendly working environment, training on their products and great company benefits?

On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established, leading company who provide electrical and mechanical engineering services within the water treatment industry. They are looking for the right candidate to join their tight knit team and to progress if desired.

In this role, your time will be split between working in the workshop and travelling around to client sites. You will be responsible for installations of pipework, sensors and cable trays for a range of products including valves, pressure gauges and temperature monitoring within the water industry. This is a Monday to Friday role, you will be given a company vehicle, expensed travel and require overnight stays.

This role would suit a Mechanical Fitter, Technician or similar, looking for a varied role within a tight-knit engineering firm who will offer great training, progression opportunities and great benefits.

The Role:

• Assembly and Installations of pipework, cable trays, sensors and water treatment instruments
• Mixture of workshop and site-based project work
• Travel around Scotland, including overnight stays each week.
• Monday to Thursday (8:00-4:30PM), 1PM Friday finish

The Person:

• Mechanical Fitter, Technician or similar
• Background in Assembly or Pipefitting
• Full UK license, happy to travel and stay overnight
• Located in Fife
