Mechanical Fitter (Special Purpose Machinery)

£32,000 - £38,000 + Static + No Weekends + 1.5x Overtime Rate + 29 Days Holiday + Training

Doncaster

Are you a Mechanical Fitter with experience working on special purpose machinery, looking to join an exciting company offering a stable, long-term, days based role with little overtime and early finishes on Fridays?

In this hands-on position, you will be working on site, constructing farming machinery, including components such as conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings. There will be training provided in the bespoke machinery used in the company too.

Established over 70 years ago, the company works with leading brands in the farming industry, specializing in processing farm produce. With recognition, they have built a great reputation for excellent service in the industry.

This role would suit a Mechanical Fitter looking for a varied role with no weekend work and little overtime, in a stable and steadily growing company.

The Role:

• Constructing bespoke farming machinery in the workshop
• Fitting conveyor systems, motors, gearboxes and bearings
• Onsite in Doncaster
• 8am - 5pm Mon - Thurs, 8am - 4:30pm Friday

The Person:

• Mechanical Fitter or similar
• Experience building special purpose machinery
