Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Fitter (Rotating Equipment) in Dudley. The role involves stripping, inspecting, and rebuilding rotating equipment such as pumps, motors and gearboxes, and diagnosing faults to ensure reliable operation.

£40,000–£42,000 with overtime available (OTE £50k), 33 days holiday, and clear progression routes into managerial roles within 2 years. Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm with optional overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience with rotating equipment including pumps, motors and gearboxes.
• Ability to strip, inspect, assess and rebuild rotating equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and commission equipment.

Are you a Mechanical Fitter who has worked on pumps, motors or gearboxes, looking to join a thriving company offering clear routes to progress into managerial roles within 2 years?

In this role you will be responsible for stripping, inspecting, assessing and rebuilding rotating equipment including pumps, motors and gearboxes. You will be diagnosing mechanical faults whilst removing, installing and commissioning rotating equipment.

Established in 2011 this automotive specialist company are looking to expand their workforce by 30% to help remain at the top of their industry. This company do the repairs for other industrial businesses that rely on this machinery to keep their production or operations running.

This role would suit a mechanical fitter who has worked with rotating equipment looking for a chance to progress their career into managerial roles.

The Role:

• Strip, inspect, assess and rebuild rotating equipment
• Diagnose mechanical faults
• Commission, remove and install equipment
• Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm, 40 hour week
• Optional overtime, paid at 1.5x
