Job summary

Ambitek Limited is recruiting a hands-on Mechanical QA professional for a UK leader in heavy engineering. You will report to the HSEQ Manager and be a time-served mechanical fitter who has progressed into QA, bringing practical inspection experience to safeguard quality and compliance.

You will operate micrometers, dial indicators, height gauges and CMMs, performing precise checks and providing clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Time-served mechanical fitter with QA exposure.
• Experience in QA processes is preferred.
• Ability to work with precision measurement equipment.

Job description

Our client a UK leader in their field are looking to recruit a mechanical QA
Reporting directly to the HSEQ Manager you will ideally be a time served mechanical fitter that has gone on to work in QA

Skills Required:

• Hands on inspection
• Using measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, height gauges, CMM, shadow graphs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience working within a heavy engineering industry is a distinct advantage
