Job description

The successful candidate will support hazardous operations, testing firing sites. You will work closely with Lead Test Engineers to prepare and maintain test sites, handle propellants, conduct sampling and analysis, and perform various critical operational tasks.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure correct feedline pressures are set for testing procedures.
  2. Assist Lead Test Engineers with site preparation and maintenance.
  3. Handle and sample propellants, conduct analysis, and perform system checks.
  4. Maintain and operate mechanical and steam vacuum systems.
  5. Calibrate instrumentation and maintain steam boiler operations.
  6. Collate and review test data for reporting and analysis.
  7. Operate high-pressure gas and fluidic systems with expertise.
  8. Utilize electrical and electronic measurement and testing equipment.
  9. Prepare, install, remove, and decontaminate customer flight hardware, including test engine instrumentation.
Skills and Competencies
  1. Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter.
  2. Strong understanding of high-pressure gas and fluidic systems.
  3. Ability to read and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams.
  4. Experience with mechanical systems, vacuum systems, and steam boiler maintenance.
  5. Proficient in using measurement and testing equipment.
