Milton Keynes University Hospital is expanding its Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) cardiology and respiratory services. We are recruiting for several roles within the Medicine division and Estates department, including this Mechanical Fitter/Plumber position.
The role involves undertaking maintenance, repairs, and minor improvements to systems such as water, ventilation, steam, air tube, heating, and cooling plants, ensuring compliance with safety standards. The successful candidate will sometimes work independently to identify maintenance issues and will collaborate with the Estates team.

Key responsibilities include performing technically intricate and non-routine maintenance, fault-finding on engineering plant and equipment (e.g., hot water systems, steam plants, Air Handling Units), and conducting preventive maintenance and checks.
