Are you a Mechanical Fitter with experience in new machine build looking to join an OEM that offers excellent benefits and great progression opportunities?

Are you seeking to join a well-established, market-leading manufacturer whose team is passionate about engineering in an organized and methodical environment?

This company has been established for nearly a century, becoming a world leader in manufacturing taping and winding machines, supplying the global energy and electrical markets. With 80% of production exported worldwide to companies such as Siemens and Sulzer, they are continuously expanding and growing their team.

This role involves:

• Assembling mechanical products according to drawings, specifications, and build procedures
• Highlighting non-conformance issues to the manager and sourcing alternative references when assembly drawings are unavailable
• Using build sheets to ensure timely and accurate build processes, making notes as necessary
• Signing off each operation on the build sheet upon completion
• Manufacturing and fabricating bespoke parts in the machine shop when required
• Making modifications during build in collaboration with the design team to meet customer requirements

The Person:

• Proven experience in new machine builds
• Experience with hand tools and measuring equipment
