Mechanical Fitter (Marine Engine Training)
£32,600 - £36,500 + Premium OT + Industry Training + Days
Workshop based. Commutable from Plymouth, Liskeard, Looe, Callington and surrounding areas.

Are you an Engineer / Technician / Fitter with Marine, Plant, Automotive, REME or similar experience, looking to join a leading business that will offer full training into the industry as you become an expert in your field? This is a days-based role with plentiful premium overtime opportunities to maximize your income.

On offer is the chance to join a company at the forefront of their industry, working on state-of-the-art machinery with excellent culture and work/life balance. The company specializes in servicing and repairing boats and has sites across the UK. They are looking to expand their engineering team due to increased workload.

In this role, you will install, service, and repair marine engines, with some fault finding and commissioning. Candidates with diesel engine experience are encouraged to apply, especially those seeking to develop into Marine Engineering.

The Role:
  • Service and repair of marine engines
  • Install, test, and commission hydraulic and mechanical systems
  • Workshop based with some site work
  • 39-hour week, 7:30am - 4:15pm Monday to Friday (early finish on Friday)

  • Hands-on mechanical or electrical engineering experience
  • Looking to progress or move into the marine industry
