Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Fitter / Installation Engineer for a nationwide field-based role. You will travel across the UK to install, refurbish and service mechanical plant, following engineering drawings and performing on-site fitting tasks.

The position offers regular overtime, a company van and expenses paid while away, with ongoing training and development to support your technical progression.

Qualifications

• Hands-on installation experience on mechanical plant or industrial machinery.
• Experience working with conveyors or similar equipment.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

Are you a Mechanical Fitter or Installation Engineer with experience installing industrial machinery or mechanical plant, looking for a varied field-based position offering plenty of overtime, UK-wide travel and further technical development?

On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist and growing engineering company, where you will work on a wide variety of mechanical installation projects across the UK, with a fully expensed company van, paid accommodation and food expenses when working away.

This specialist engineering business works on a range of technically interesting projects throughout the UK and is looking to expand its installation team due to continued growth.

In this role, you will travel to customer sites across the country, installing and refurbishing a variety of mechanical equipment. You will work from engineering drawings, carry out mechanical fitting and installation.

This is a field-based position involving regular overnight stays, so applicants must be comfortable spending significant periods working away from home. All hotel accommodation and food expenses while working away are covered.

This role would suit a Mechanical Fitter, Installation Engineer or Mechanical Engineer with hands‑on installation experience who is looking for a varied UK‑wide role with overtime, a company van and the opportunity to work on a range of industrial projects.
