Mechanical Fitter (Training in Hydraulics)

Full-Time, Monday to Friday

Location: Plymouth

Are you a Mechanical Fitter looking to build a long-term career with a well-established engineering business? Would you be interested in developing your skills through leading hands-on hydraulic training and progressing into more senior roles over time?

This is a great opportunity to join a respected company offering a stable, days-based role with an early finish every Friday. You'll receive industry-recognised training, regular salary reviews, and access to overtime paid up to 2x your hourly rate.

The company is a global name within engineering, supplying specialist products and services to a wide range of sectors such as Automotive, Aerospace & Marine. They're known for investing in their staff and promoting from within.

In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, servicing, and testing a variety of hydraulic/mechanical systems used by well-known clients across multiple industries. You will be working on exciting projects in their Plymouth workshop with potential to work on flagship projects across the UK, leading to an interesting and varied workload.

This position would suit someone with mechanical fitting experience who's keen to develop new skills. Previous experience with hydraulics would be an advantage, but full training will be provided so not essential.

The Role
  • Installation, maintenance and servicing of hydraulic/mechanical systems
