NHS National Services Scotland is seeking a Maintenance Craftsperson (Mechanical Fitter) based at Royal Victoria Hospital, with duties across Tayside. The role involves installing, repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment to ensure safe operation of estates services.

The post requires a recognised craft apprenticeship and relevant mechanical engineering qualifications, with willingness to travel between Dundee and other sites as needed and participate in an on-call rota.

Qualifications

• Recognised and registered craft apprenticeship plus HNC/ ONC/ BTEC Mechanical Engineering or City and Guilds 205/214 or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance and fitting within Healthcare/ Estates environments preferred.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota and to travel between sites within Tayside.

Responsabilités

• Provide mechanical maintenance services to meet Estate service needs.
• Install, repair, modify and maintain mechanical equipment across NHS sites.
• Be part of an out of hours on-call rota and ensure compliance with Healthcare Standards.
