Job summary

NHS Tayside is seeking a Maintenance Specialist (BMS Mechanical/Electrical) for Ninewells Hospital with travel to other Tayside sites. You will be responsible for maintaining building management systems to ensure safe, reliable operation of estate services.

The role requires a recognised electrical apprenticeship and relevant advanced qualifications. The post offers a 36-hour week and participation in an on-call rota.

Qualifications

• Craft apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Academic qualifications to satisfy the role (Electrical/Electronic).
• Experience and training matching NHS standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance services on all building management systems.
• Install, repair and maintain BMS equipment across NHS sites.
• Ensure safe, efficient operation of engineering systems in the built environment.
• Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota.
