Job summary

Williams Manufacturing is seeking a Mechanical Fitter in Birmingham to join a well-established, reputable team. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs and maintenance across heavy industrial plant, including furnaces and rolling equipment.

Apprenticeship or equivalent is required, with a strong preventive mindset and safety-driven approach. You will work Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime and a comprehensive benefits package as part of a supportive employer.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained or equivalent as a minimum.
• Experience in heavy/industrial environments is essential.
• Strong mechanical maintenance background with hands-on fitting skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults on a range of medium/heavy machinery.
• Carry out reactive maintenance and planned maintenance tasks.
• Lead or assist in maintenance projects, upgrades and installations on site.
