About the role

• Carry out remedial or preventative work according to priorities agreed upon and within your scope of competence.
• Provide effective feedback to team members and Foremen to maximize the effectiveness of engineering input.
• Offer suggestions for improvements in equipment safety, performance, tooling, design, and working practices where necessary.
• Be an effective team member, working flexibly to meet team demands, using knowledge, initiative, and experience for the benefit of the group. Be approachable and forthcoming with ideas.
• Demonstrate an interest in personal development and participate in training sessions as required.
• Participate in risk assessments and method statements where appropriate.

About you

The successful candidate should be:

• A time-served mechanical engineering fitter or equivalent.
• Risk assessment trained and IOSH Working Safely certified.
• First aid certified (desirable but not essential).
