Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited in Normanton is seeking a Mechanical Fitter/Assembler with experience in gearboxes or motors. You will test and assemble industrial gearboxes and motors, with fault finding and strip down duties and extensive on-the-job training and development programmes.

The role is Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, with overtime potential and a competitive package including a £30k-£35k base, OTE £41k, a £2k bonus and a company pension.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Assembler working with motors or gearboxes.
• Experience working on vehicles is a plus.
• UK Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Test and assemble industrial gearboxes and motors.
• Fault finding and strip downs of mechanical equipment.
• Full on the job training and development programmes.
• Work Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.

Are you a Mechanical Fitter/Assembler with experience in gearboxes or motors, looking to join a 4 billion turnover company who will invest heavily into your development, with ongoing training on specialist equipment and plenty of overtime to boost your earnings?

In this role you will be and carrying out assessments, testing and assembly of industrial gearboxes and motors. This will include fault finding and stripping down of various mechanical equipment and completing service jobs. Full on the job training will be provided, including extensive development programmes to progress your career.
