Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Mechanical Fitter/Assembler in Aldermaston. You will test and assemble gearboxes and motors, fault-find and strip down equipment, and complete service jobs.

The role includes extensive on-the-job training and development opportunities within a global manufacturing environment. This position offers a base salary in the £31,000–£36,000 range (OTE £42,000), plus a £2k bonus, plus a pension (employer 22%), and training.

Qualifications

• Experience with gearboxes or motors, fault finding and assembly.
• UKDriver's License is required.
• Willingness to undertake extensive on-the-job training and development.

Responsibilities

• Test and assemble industrial gearboxes and motors.
• Fault finding and stripping down of mechanical equipment.
• Complete service jobs and on-site testing as required.
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.

Are you a Mechanical Fitter/Assembler with experience in gearboxes or motors, looking to join a £4 billion turnover company who will invest heavily into your development, with ongoing training on specialist equipment and plenty of overtime to boost your earnings?

In this role you will be and carrying out assessments, testing and assembly of industrial gearboxes and motors. This will include fault finding and stripping down of various mechanical equipment and completing service jobs. Full on the job training will be provided, including extensive development programmes to progress your career.
